I think the biggest difference in the needs of childcare today are based on 2 main factors....1. The use of extended family...with more baby boomers living with, or close to their children less childcare centers and people are needed. 2. The need for 2 income famlies, because of this children are going to day care at a yonger age, and staying for more hours....these two sound like they contradict each other, but the truth is that with these 2 factors...you can change the way people look at childcare.
